The setting and characters were good. Writing about a close look at a domestic situation was handled well. I enjoyed it.
John's worst fear came true in this emotionally- gripping story of the Old West. I admired Becky's determination and courage to stick it out for as long as she could and to try to keep her children safe. This is a good read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Nice short romance novel mixed in with some cowboys and a little modern psychology! If you would like a nice short story, go here!
I can't wait to see if there will be more chapters to this short story. Becky is a strong woman and she has to be married to John in the old west setting in this novel. The ending is terrific and surprising, I hope to read more by Shirley Sorbello.
What wonderful writing Ms. Sorbello exhibits in her first published work!
I am not surprised that she feels it was brought on by a past life experience; the voice of Becky seems all too real for an imaginary character and was written with much conviction.
I will be awaiting her novel with much excitement and hope she continues on her journey of writing.
